Who is Quasimodo?
Quasimodo is the titular character in Disney’s animated film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame“. He is a deformed bell-ringer who lives in the cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, France during the 15th century. Despite his physical appearance, Quasimodo is kind, honest, and caring, but he is isolated from the rest of society due to his appearance and is frequently mistreated. He finds solace in his work as a bell-ringer and in his relationship with the gypsy Esmeralda and the cathedral’s Archdeacon, Claude Frollo. He was voiced by actor Tom Hulce.
