Who is Terk?

Terk (short for Terkina) is a beloved character from Disney’s Tarzan (1999). She is a young female gorilla who serves as Tarzan’s spirited, playful, and fiercely loyal best friend. Terk’s personality is defined by her high energy, sass, and tomboyish demeanor, which often brings humor to the film. She is known for her boldness, acting as a protective sister figure to Tarzan, while also introducing him to the fun and mischief of jungle life.
