How To: Get Disney Emoji on Your Phone or Tablet

Last Updated on: February 18th, 2024

If you are like roughly half of adult internet users, you likely are very familiar with and use emoji in your messaging and social posts. Emoji are a fun, quick and easy way of expressing yourself and with phone and software makers adding new emoji regularly, you have plenty of options to choose from. So why not show off a bit of your passion for the Ears with a few Disney emoji for your arsenal? Now you can….

Setting up Disney emoji on your phone or tablet is fairly easy, but ‘collecting’ them for use is a bit more challenging, yet very fun and addictive. Here is how you do it:

  1. Goto your phone’s app store and search for the “Disney Emoji Blitz” game (iOS here and Android here)
  2. Install the game and open it
  3. Tap on the settings option (looks like a gear)
  4. Tap on ‘Keyboard’ and then ‘Keyboard Setup’
  5. Tap on ‘Enable Emoji Blitz Keyboard’ and then it will take you to your device’s keyboard menu where you can then follow any further device-specific keyboard installation steps.

Next, you need to get your emoji, which is the fun and addicting part…you have to play the game!

Disney Emoji Blitz is basically a Bejeweled clone where you need to get three in a row and special powers for four or five in a row or two-three in a rows in one move. There are challenges, levels and other game features that add to the stickiness of the game, but the real addiction for hard-core Disney fans is the challenge of getting your favorite Disney character emoji. You don’t start from scratch. You do get an emoji up front and a few others are easy to collect before it gets more difficult.

You can also physically buy the elements you need to use to unlock certain emoji, but what fun is that?

In addition to Disney emoji, there are also Pixar characters and occasionally new emoji sets are added to promote special Disney property events like a new Disney or Star Wars movie release.

Good luck collecting your emoji and be sure to clear that to do list once you start playing this game. Your productivity level will drop quickly…
