It takes place towards the end of the film, as Gaston incites the villagers to attack the Beast’s castle in order to kill the Beast and rescue Belle. The song is a tense and dramatic piece, with the villagers singing about their fear and hatred of the Beast, while Gaston manipulates them and urges them to action. The song builds to a crescendo as the villagers storm the castle, leading to the film’s climactic battle between the Beast and Gaston.
