The 50’s Prime Time Café is a restaurant located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The restaurant is designed to look like a 1950s-style home and features classic American cuisine.

The dining experience at 50’s Prime Time Café is unique in that it is themed to a traditional American family dinner, complete with dishes such as fried chicken, pot roast, meatloaf, and mashed potatoes. Guests are served by “cousins” and “aunts” who act as if they are family members and will remind guests to mind their manners, eat their vegetables, and finish their plates.

The restaurant is also decorated with vintage memorabilia from the 1950s, including old TV sets, radios, and advertisements. The overall ambiance is meant to transport guests back in time to the post-World War II era, giving them a nostalgic dining experience.

Mind Your Manners!
Pull a vinyl chair up to the Formica table and tuck into hearty home cooking like Mom’s old-fashioned pot roast, Aunt Liz’s golden fried chicken and so much more. Just make sure you wash your hands, put your napkin in your lap and keep your elbows off the table, unless you want a stern talking-to from Uncle Fred.

A True TV Dinner

For an extra-special treat, you’re allowed to watch TV while eating dinner! Take a seat at a retro TV table and enjoy black-and-white clips from popular prime-time shows circa 1955. After dinner, be sure to browse the dessert menu for sweet treats that include an incredible chocolate peanut butter layer cake and pineapple upside down cake—just like Mom’s!

Dad’s Dazzling Drinks
Kids of all ages will be “too cool for school” while sipping specialty drinks in souvenir cups with “electric ice cubes” or glowing Disney Character lights. Plus, the 21-and-over crowd can chill with classic cocktails from a bygone era!

Adults can bop on over to the Tune-In Lounge next door for additional alcoholic drink selections and more retro TV. Hungry cats can order from the full Prime Time Café menu for a totally nifty 1950’s experience that’s the bee’s knees!
