Mickey's Fun Wheel - Extinct Disneyland RidesMickey’s Fun Wheel was a giant Ferris wheel located in Disney California Adventure Park, which is adjacent to Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. The attraction opened in 2001 as part of the park’s expansion and was one of its most popular rides.

The Ferris wheel stood 160 feet tall and was decorated with colorful Mickey Mouse icons. It had a total of 24 gondolas that were divided into two types: stationary and sliding. The stationary gondolas remained level while the wheel turned, offering a more relaxed experience. The sliding gondolas, on the other hand, slid back and forth on rails as the wheel turned, offering a more thrilling ride.

In addition to its impressive size and colorful decoration, Mickey’s Fun Wheel was known for its stunning views of the park and the surrounding area. Riders could see all the way to the Disneyland Park and beyond on a clear day.

In 2018, Mickey’s Fun Wheel was reimagined as the Pixar Pal-A-Round, featuring new gondolas decorated with characters from popular Pixar movies. The attraction remains a popular ride at Disney California Adventure Park today.
