Tokyo DisneySea, renowned for its immersive themes and attractions that transport visitors to various mythical and fantastical settings, has unveiled its latest expansion, Fantasy Springs.

This eagerly anticipated area marks the park’s most significant development since its opening, introducing guests to a magical realm where beloved stories from Disney’s Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan come to life. Fantasy Springs not only expands Tokyo DisneySea’s enchanting world but also sets new standards in theme park innovation and storytelling.

In this guide, we’ll explore the enchanting lands of the Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Neverland, alongside other changes and additions made to the park.

The Frozen Kingdom

The Frozen Kingdom transports guests to the enchanting world of Arendelle, home to Elsa, Anna, and their friends. This area is a winter wonderland, featuring the majestic Elsa’s Ice Palace atop a snowy mountain, which glistens under the sun and sparkles at night with magical lights. Visitors can explore the picturesque village of Arendelle, where they’ll find attractions, dining experiences, and shops that bring the story of Frozen to life.

One of the highlights is a state-of-the-art attraction that takes guests on a magical journey through the events of Frozen. Riders accompany Anna and Elsa on an adventure filled with iconic songs and moments from the films, showcased through advanced animatronics and immersive environments.

The new land will also include two new restaurants- Royal Banquet of Arendell (table service option) and Oaken’s OK Foods (quick service).

Rapunzel’s Forest

Rapunzel’s Forest is a lush, vibrant area inspired by the world of Tangled. This section of Fantasy Springs is centered around the iconic tower where Rapunzel spent her early years, set amidst a beautifully landscaped forest that invites exploration. Guests can wander through the charming streets of the kingdom, participate in interactive experiences, and enjoy themed dining that reflects the film’s aesthetic and culinary delights.

The main attraction here is Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, a dark boat ride that takes visitors on a journey through Rapunzel’s story, from her life in the tower to the exciting moments leading to her reuniting with her parents. The ride features stunning scenes that recreate the film’s memorable sequences, including the lantern festival, enhanced with breathtaking lighting and visual effects.

This new Tangled land will include one new restaurant. The Snuggle Duckling is an eatery modeled after the iconic tavern in the movie.

Peter Pan’s Neverland

Peter Pan’s Neverland offers guests the chance to soar into the world of Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and the Lost Boys. This area captures the essence of the classic tale, with attractions that include flying ships, encounters with pirates, and explorations of hidden caves. Neverland is designed as an island, complete with mermaid lagoons and dense jungles, offering a comprehensive experience that feels as if you’ve stepped directly into the story.

The signature attraction here is Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure, a flying adventure where guests board pirate ships and navigate through Neverland, experiencing key moments from the story. This ride combines advanced flight simulation technology with intricate set designs, creating an exhilarating experience that captures the magic and adventure of Peter Pan’s world.

Unlike the other two new lands, there will be a second ride in Pater Pan’s Neverland. Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies which will shrink riders down to the size of a fairy and take them through a magical journey.

Peter Pan’s new land will have one new dining options-  Lookout Cookout, which appears to be an amazingly-themed quick service restaurant.
