Grey’s Anatomy Renewed for Season 21

ABC has officially announced the renewal of “Grey’s Anatomy” for an unprecedented 21st season, maintaining its status as the longest-running primetime medical drama.

 

The decision comes just after three episodes of the 20th season aired, showcasing the network’s confidence in the series’ enduring appeal.

 

Season 21 will extend to 18 episodes, overcoming the previous season’s limitation to 10 episodes due to strikes.

 

Ellen Pompeo remains a pivotal figure, contributing as a recurring character, executive producer, and the iconic voiceover artist.

 

The series’ renewal also highlights the leadership of Meg Marinis as the new showrunner and emphasizes the need for new contracts for the veteran cast.
