Napa Rose Sets Reopening Date at Disney’s Grand Californian
Published on 1/22/26 by Craig Smith
After an extensive, months-long reimagining, Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will officially reopen its doors on February 6, 2026, restoring Disneyland Resort’s flagship fine-dining experience just in time for the restaurant’s 25th anniversary.
Disney describes the refreshed Napa Rose as a “reimagined” signature restaurant that honors its legacy of California wine country cuisine while embracing broader global influences. The dining room, bar, and lounge have all been redesigned with warmer lodge-inspired details, intimate seating areas, a new bar, and an inviting fireplace, plus an updated outdoor patio for alfresco dining.
Helmed since opening by culinary director Andrew Sutton, the kitchen will again be led by Sutton alongside Executive Chef Clint Chin, with a seasonal menu featuring dishes such as American Wagyu New York steak, oak-roasted forest mushrooms, and handmade sorpresine pasta with Dungeness crab and Santa Barbara uni butter. Desserts remain in the hands of Executive Pastry Chef Jorge Sotelo and Pastry Chef Nubia Renteria, known for playful, produce-driven sweets.
In the bar and lounge, walk-up guests can enjoy elevated small plates like beef tartare with Osetra caviar, bone marrow custard, and Laughing Tiger, a reimagining of the restaurant’s fan-favorite Smiling Tiger Salad. Napa Rose’s robust wine program, curated by wine director Patrick Kirchen, will once again spotlight an expansive collection designed to complement the new menu.
Reservations for Napa Rose open on January 27, 2026, at 9 a.m. PST on Disneyland.com and NapaRose.com, and are strongly recommended for the main dining room.
