zootopia 2 home videoDisney has confirmed that Zootopia 2 is heading to home viewing sooner rather than later, with firm dates now set for both digital and physical releases. The blockbuster sequel will arrive on digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, on January 27, 2026. Just a few weeks later, fans who prefer discs can pick up the film on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting March 3, 2026.

The follow-up to the 2016 hit reunites rookie cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, as they go undercover to untangle a new mystery tied to the slippery newcomer Gary De’Snake, played by Ke Huy Quan. The film has already roared to more than $1.7 billion at the global box office, becoming the highest-grossing animated release under the Motion Picture Association banner and the ninth biggest film of all time worldwide.

Home releases will be packed with extras. Bonus features include multiple featurettes that tour Walt Disney Animation Studios, highlight the returning and new voice cast, explore hidden Easter eggs, and take viewers inside the recording booth, plus an art-focused segment teaching fans how to draw Nibbles Maplestick. There’s also a “Zoo” music video featuring Shakira and a sizeable slate of deleted scenes with intros from directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard. A limited-edition 4K SteelBook and a two-movie digital/DVD bundle pairing Zootopia and its sequel will also be available.

A Disney+ streaming date has not yet been announced, though Disney indicates it should land around the physical release window, with details to follow closer to March.
