Who is Chad?
Chad Charming is a character from Disney’s “Descendants” franchise. He is the son of Cinderella and Prince Charming, embodying the archetype of a privileged and self-assured prince.
Throughout the series, Chad is portrayed as a popular student at Auradon Prep, known for his charm and good looks. However, he often displays arrogance and a manipulative nature, particularly towards the children of villains, whom he initially distrusts and looks down upon. Over time, his character experiences growth, revealing more depth and complexity.
In the live-action films “Descendants,” “Descendants 2,” and “Descendants 3,” Chad Charming is portrayed by Canadian actor Jedidiah Goodacre. Goodacre also lends his voice to the character in the animated special “Descendants: The Royal Wedding.”
