Who is Grand Pabbie?

Grand Pabbie, also known as the Troll King, is a character from the 2013 Disney animated film “Frozen.” He is the leader of a group of magical trolls who live in the forests near the kingdom of Arendelle. Grand Pabbie has the ability to heal injuries and erase memories, and he is sought out by the main characters of the film for his knowledge and guidance.

In the film, Grand Pabbie is the one who tells young Princess Anna that her sister Elsa was born with the power to create ice and snow, and advises their parents to keep Elsa’s powers a secret and help her learn to control them. Later in the film, Grand Pabbie helps Anna to realize that only an act of true love can save her from a frozen heart, and directs her to return to Arendelle to confront Hans, the film’s villain.

Grand Pabbie is voiced by actor Ciarán Hinds in the English version of the film, and by Norwegian actor Atle Antonsen in the Norwegian version.
