Who is Jane?
Jane is a character from the Disney Channel Original Movie franchise “Descendants.” The franchise includes multiple films, books, and animated series that revolve around the descendants of Disney villains and heroes. Jane is introduced in the first “Descendants” film, which was released in 2015.
Jane is the daughter of the Fairy Godmother from Disney’s “Cinderella.” In the film, she is portrayed by actress Brenna D’Amico. Jane is a shy and sweet-natured girl who attends Auradon Prep, a school for the descendants of Disney heroes. She initially lacks self-confidence and struggles with her magical abilities.
Throughout the “Descendants” series, Jane’s character undergoes development as she gains more confidence in herself and her abilities. She is known for her friendship with Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, and the other main characters. Jane also plays a key role in some of the films’ plot points, including the use of her mother’s magic wand.
