Throughout the film, Prince Phillip embarks on a journey to defeat the evil fairy Maleficent and awaken Princess Aurora from her eternal slumber. He is depicted as a brave and chivalrous young prince who is willing to risk his life to save the princess. With the help of the Three Good Fairies, Prince Phillip faces numerous challenges and obstacles, but ultimately succeeds in defeating Maleficent and awakening Princess Aurora with a kiss. Overall, Prince Phillip is a classic Disney prince who is handsome, courageous, and romantic, and serves as a love interest and partner to Princess Aurora. He was voiced by Bill Shirley and animated by Milt Kahl.
