Rex the Dinosaur is a character in the Disney/Pixar animated movie “Toy Story” (1995) and its sequels. He is a plastic green dinosaur toy who is one of the main characters in the film. Rex is portrayed as a timid and insecure character who struggles with self-doubt and a fear of not being good enough. Despite these insecurities, he is a loyal friend to the other toys and is always there to support them. He was voiced by actor Wallace Shawn (The Princess Bride).
