Disney’s Riviera Resort is a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) property located at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. It opened in December 2019 and is themed after the picturesque Mediterranean coastlines of Europe.

The resort features 300 deluxe studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas, as well as grand villas that can accommodate up to 12 guests. The rooms are decorated with elegant furnishings, artwork, and décor inspired by European artistry.

Guests of the resort can enjoy a variety of amenities, including multiple dining options, a fitness center, a rooftop restaurant with stunning views of the property and surrounding area, and a beautiful pool area with a waterslide and splash pad for kids. The resort also offers a Disney Skyliner station, which provides convenient transportation to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

One of the unique features of Disney’s Riviera Resort is its incorporation of art into the guest experience. The resort features over 40 pieces of original artwork, including mosaics, paintings, and sculptures, that pay tribute to Walt Disney’s love of European art and storytelling.

Overall, Disney’s Riviera Resort offers a luxurious and immersive experience that allows guests to experience the beauty and charm of the Mediterranean coast without leaving the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.

I am founder and editor of DisneyNews.us. My passion for all things Disney goes pretty far back to my first trip to Walt Disney World in the mid-80's. I have since returned to the magical place more than 20 times. I started this site when I came to the realization that I spent a significant portion of my day reading articles about Disney and watching Disney content with my 8-year old, so it made sense that I would start sharing some of what I read and see and building a little community around it. Other interests include 80's nostalgia, vintage toys, video games, LEGO, Star Wars and tech gadgets. Other site isDMR.
