Feathered Friends in Flight disney worldFeathered Friends in Flight is a bird show located in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom park at Walt Disney World. This attraction replaced the previous Flights of Wonder show and then transitioned from Up! A Great Bird Adventure, which included characters from the film ‘UP,’ to its current incarnation which is designed to entertain and educate guests about various bird species without any barriers or distancing measures.

The show features animal behavior specialists who share fascinating information about different bird species as the birds fly across the stage and sometimes directly over the audience. Some birds may even perform tricks, showcasing behaviors such as recycling, which is not only educational but entertaining as well. The highlight for many is the appearance of a bald eagle, which is the national bird of the United States.

The show lasts approximately 35 minutes and is offered several times a day, usually around 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m., although guests should check the My Disney Experience app or the posted schedule at the theater for exact times during their visit.

Feathered Friends in Flight is considered a medium priority attraction for guests, and it’s particularly recommended for birdwatchers and those looking for an enjoyable break during their park visit. There’s no height requirement for the show, making it suitable for everyone, and it doesn’t typically require the use of a Lightning Lane as the theater can accommodate many guests and provides ample viewing opportunities.
