Who is Gamora?
Gamora is a central and complex character in Marvel Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She was created by writer-artist Jim Starlin and first appeared in “Strange Tales” #180 in 1975.
In the comics, Gamora is the adopted daughter of the Mad Titan, Thanos. She is the last of her species, the Zen-Whoberis, whose entire population was exterminated by Thanos. He then raised Gamora as an assassin and trained her to be one of the deadliest fighters in the galaxy. Despite her dark upbringing, Gamora eventually rebels against Thanos and becomes a hero, fighting against her adopted father’s tyranny.
Gamora’s skills as a warrior are exceptional, and she is proficient in various forms of combat. Her agility, combat prowess, and proficiency with weapons make her a formidable opponent in battle. Additionally, Gamora is known for her intelligence and strategic thinking, often taking on leadership roles among her fellow heroes.
