Disneyland Resort is set to enhance your magical journey through the bayou with the introduction of two enchanting retail shops, inspired by the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film, “The Princess and the Frog”. Nestled in the heart of Critter Country within Disneyland park, these upcoming merchandise locations, named Ray’s Berets and Louis’ Critter Club, aim to deepen your immersion into the enchanting world of Princess Tiana. This exciting development coincides with the debut of the new attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, slated to open later this year.

Walt Disney Imagineering has shared captivating concept art for both retail outlets, inviting guests to anticipate the charm and magic that await.

Louis’ Critter Club: A Critter Country Gem
Soon to transform the left-hand side of the current Pooh Corner, Louis’ Critter Club is your future go-to spot for a delightful array of apparel, accessories, and home décor items. This shop celebrates the critter companions from “The Princess and the Frog”, alongside Princess Tiana herself, offering guests a unique way to bring part of the bayou back home. The opening of Louis’ Critter Club is timed perfectly with the launch of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, enhancing the narrative experience of Princess Tiana’s world.

Ray’s Berets: A Cozy Critter Cabin
Ray’s Berets, set to replace The Briar Patch, promises to be the ultimate destination for guests seeking themed headwear, apparel, and more. Inspired by the charming firefly Raymond and his kin, this cozy cabin in Critter Country will shine with the spirit of the bayou. The shop’s design and merchandise will reflect the warmth and joy of Raymond’s family, making it a must-visit location for fans of the film.

As you explore further into Critter Country, Louis’ Critter Club will emerge as a vibrant locale, echoing the adventures of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It’s not just a shop; it’s a gateway to experiencing the camaraderie and spirit of Princess Tiana’s world.

While the transformation unfolds, the beloved sweets section of Pooh Corner will remain a treasure trove for fans of Hundred Acre Wood, continuing to offer iconic treats.

In preparation for these captivating additions, Critter Country will be temporarily closed starting May 1, 2024. The Disneyland team is dedicated to bringing Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to life, focusing on enhancing the guest experience with improved pathways and surroundings.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure promises an unforgettable musical journey through the bayou, celebrating the story of Princess Tiana, Louis, and their friends as they plan a spectacular Mardi Gras celebration. This attraction, rich in storytelling and music, will feature original compositions alongside beloved songs from the film, immersing guests in a vibrant, animated mural and the unfolding chapter of Tiana’s tale.

These new developments join the ranks of Tiana’s Palace restaurant and Eudora’s Chic Boutique in New Orleans Square, further enriching Disneyland’s tribute to “The Princess and the Frog”.
