Aladdin 2: The Live-Action Sequel (2026 News)
As of February 2026, reports indicate that Disney is officially moving forward with the sequel to the 2019 live-action blockbuster. While initially delayed, the project—reportedly an original story rather than a direct remake of The Return of Jafar—is eyeing a 2026 filming start date. Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation on the return of Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott, with Will Smith heavily rumored to reprise his iconic role as the Genie.
Celebrating 25 Years of Disney California Adventure
On February 8, 2026, Disney California Adventure celebrates its 25th Anniversary. As part of the festivities, Disney is paying tribute to “Aladdin – A Musical Stage Spectacular,” the fan-favorite show that ran for over a decade at the Hyperion Theater. Where to Meet Aladdin in 2026

- Disney Cruise Line: Aladdin remains a star of the stage on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish, where he appears in “Disney’s Believe” and “Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular.”
New 2026 “Prince Ali” Gear
Released in early February 2026, Disney has launched a new line of “Dream Princess” and “Prince” sports apparel.
