Who is Br’er Fox?

Br’er Fox is a fictional character from the Uncle Remus stories by Joel Chandler Harris, and is also a character in the Disney film Song of the South. Br’er Fox is the wily and cunning enemy of Br’er Rabbit. He is known for his clever schemes to catch Br’er Rabbit, but like Br’er Bear, he is often outwitted by the clever rabbit. He is often depicted as the antagonist in the stories and is known for his catchphrase “I’ll fix that rabbit!” He was played by veteran actor James Baskett.
