Who is Dory?

Dory is a friendly, optimistic, and forgetful blue tang fish featured in Pixar’s Finding Nemo (2003) and its sequel, Finding Dory (2016). She suffers from short-term memory loss, which brings humor and challenges to her journey.

Dory becomes a loyal friend to Marlin, a clownfish searching for his son, Nemo, and helps him overcome various obstacles. Her positive spirit and determination make her a beloved character in the Finding Nemo franchise.

Ellen DeGeneres voiced Dory in both Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, bringing her quirky, funny, and compassionate personality to life. Her performance was widely praised, contributing significantly to Dory’s popularity as a character.
