Who is Grumpy?
Grumpy is one of the seven dwarfs in Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which premiered in 1937 as the first-ever full-length animated feature film.
Known for his surly demeanor and grouchy expression, Grumpy often shows impatience and skepticism, especially towards Snow White and her gentle nature.
While Grumpy may be gruff and quick to dismiss others, he proves to have a heart of gold, as seen through his protective nature and loyalty to Snow White. His character arc is one of growth, as he transitions from distrust and irritation to genuine care and affection for Snow White and his fellow dwarfs. This transformation from gruff exterior to a more tender-hearted figure has made him one of the most memorable characters in Disney’s history.
Grumpy was voiced by actor Pinto Colvig, who was also known for his work as the voice of Goofy.
