Sharpay Evans (High School Musical)

Sharpay Evans is a character in the Disney Channel Original Movie “High School Musical.” She is depicted as the popular and high-maintenance diva of East High School, and is the twin sister of Ryan Evans.

Sharpay is portrayed as being confident, ambitious, and a bit selfish, and is often depicted as being the primary antagonist of the film.

Throughout the film, Sharpay uses her social status and connections to try and sabotage the relationship between the film’s protagonist, Troy Bolton, and Gabriella Montez. She is also depicted as being jealous of the attention and popularity that Troy and Gabriella receive, and is determined to remain the center of attention at East High.

Despite her villainous ways, Sharpay is a beloved character among fans of the “High School Musical” franchise, and is remembered for her over-the-top personality and her memorable one-liners. She was played by Ashley Tisdale.
