“A Tour of the West” was a former attraction at Disneyland in California. It operated from 1955 to 1960 and was located in Frontierland.

“A Tour of the West” was a boat ride that took guests on a scenic journey through the American West. The attraction featured a narrated tour that showcased iconic landscapes and landmarks associated with the western United States.

Guests would board boats and travel along a waterway, passing by scenes representing different regions of the West. The ride provided views of mountains, canyons, forests, and other natural features, as well as iconic structures like the Grand Canyon and Old Faithful geyser.

The attraction aimed to provide guests with a sense of adventure and a glimpse into the beauty and diversity of the American West. However, “A Tour of the West” closed after its first year of operation, and the area was later transformed into other attractions within Frontierland.
