Cove Bar | Disneyland

Last Updated on: March 26th, 2024

The Cove Bar was a popular restaurant and bar located in Disney California Adventure Park, which is adjacent to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The restaurant opened in 2001 and was located on the second floor of Ariel’s Grotto, which was themed around the character of Ariel from Disney’s animated film “The Little Mermaid.”

The Cove Bar was known for its unique menu of cocktails and appetizers, as well as its scenic views of the park’s Paradise Bay. The bar featured a large outdoor seating area that overlooked the water, and guests could enjoy their food and drinks while watching the park’s World of Color nighttime show.

In 2018, Ariel’s Grotto and the Cove Bar closed to make way for a new attraction, “The Incredicoaster,” which is a roller coaster themed around the characters from the Pixar film “The Incredibles.” The restaurant space was repurposed and now houses a new restaurant and bar, the “Lamplight Lounge,” which serves California-inspired cuisine and craft cocktails.

While the Cove Bar is no longer at Disney California Adventure Park, guests can still enjoy similar food and drink offerings at the Lamplight Lounge, which has become a popular spot for visitors to relax and take in the park’s views.
