Unlike traditional 3D attractions that require special glasses, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway uses cutting-edge projection mapping and special effects to create the illusion of three-dimensional characters and environments within a two-dimensional cartoon-like setting. This innovative approach allows guests to step into the cartoon world and become part of the story.

The ride vehicles themselves, called “Runnamuck Railroad” trains, are whimsically designed to resemble classic cars from the golden age of animation. Each train is driven by Goofy, and guests board the train for a wild and zany ride full of surprises and laughter.
