Who is Ludwig Von Drake?

Ludwig Von Drake is an iconic Disney character created by Walt Disney, Milt Kahl and Ward Kimball in 1961. He first appeared in The Wonderful World of Color in 1961 and has appeared in countless Disney movies, shorts and shows since. He was originally voiced by Paul Frees, who has voiced a number of Disney characters over the years including The Haunted Mansion’s Ghost Host.

Ludwig von Drake is often portrayed as an expert in various fields of knowledge and technology, and is known for his humorous explanations of complex scientific concepts to a child-like audience. He is also known for his catchphrase “Vell, vell, vell,” and for his interest in science, technology, and literature. He is considered one of the most recognizable and beloved Disney characters.
