Series Description:
Alice’s Wonderland Bakery is a Disney Junior animated series that aired from February 9, 2022, to April 15, 2024.
The show follows Alice, the great-granddaughter of the original Alice from Lewis Carroll’s classic tales, as she embarks on culinary adventures in the whimsical world of Wonderland. As a budding young baker at the enchanted Wonderland Bakery, Alice creates magical confections that bring a new generation of characters together. She is joined by her friends Hattie, a “mad hatter” boy; Fergie, a white rabbit; and Princess Rosa, the Princess of Hearts. Together, they explore themes of creativity, self-expression, and the importance of food in building community.
The series was developed by Chelsea Beyl and produced by Disney Television Animation. It features the voice talents of Libby Rue as Alice, CJ Uy as Hattie, Jack Stanton as Fergie, and Abigail Estrella as Princess Rosa. The show received positive reviews for its whimsical storytelling and cultural diversity, with critics praising its celebration of creativity and collaboration through the lens of baking. Eden Espinosa, who voices the Queen of Hearts, received a nomination for Outstanding Voice Performance in a Preschool Animated Program at the 1st Children’s and Family Emmy Awards.
