Who is Anakin Skywalker?
Anakin Skywalker is a fictional character from the Star Wars franchise. He is a central character in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and later becomes the main villain of the original trilogy, Darth Vader. He is a Jedi Knight trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi, and later becomes the apprentice of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is a gifted and powerful force user, known for his exceptional lightsaber skills and his ability to use the Force. He is also a skilled pilot and mechanic. He falls to the dark side of the force and becomes Darth Vader, a Sith Lord. He ultimately redeems himself by killing his former master, the Emperor, to save his son Luke Skywalker. The character is portrayed by actors Jake Lloyd and Hayden Christensen in the prequel trilogy and by David Prowse and James Earl Jones in the original trilogy.
