New WDW Show “The Music of Pixar Live!” will be Live-Streamed Tonight!

Tonight, you will be able to take home a little slice of Walt Disney World magic and enjoy the amazing new show “The Music of Pixar Live!” from the comfort of your computer screen or mobile device. The new show, which appears nightly at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, will be live-streamed on the Disney Parks blog as part of their #DinseyParksLIVE series.

Coming Soon: Group Photos at Disney World’s Pirates of the Caribbean Ride

Disney has announced a new photo opportunity coming soon to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Much like other in-ride photos, the picture will be snapped during the ride and available to purchase and download after the ride through Disney PhotoPass. According to Disney, the picture will be snapped between the haunted grotto and Golden Age of Piracy segments of the ride.

Reservations Now Open for Disney World 2017 Halloween and Christmas Dessert Parties

Disney announced today that reservations are now open for dessert parties at both Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

The dessert parties take place at the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and offer a wonderful combination of great views of the holiday fireworks shows, as well as, some amazing holiday treats to much on.

Disney File Lawsuits Over Disney World Property Tax Assessments

Disney is taking Orange County to court over property tax assessments for a number of Disney World properties. Disney is arguing that the 2016 assessments, made by the county in order to calculate property tax owed, were too high and were subject to unjust increases. Some of the properties in question are the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as, a number of Disney World resorts.

Disney Mobile Ordering Comes to Some Magic Kingdom Restaurants

A little while back, Disney started to offer mobile ordering at select Animal Kingdom restaurants (Satu’li Canteen and Pizzafari) which allowed patrons to use the My Disney Experience mobile app to order and pay for their food in advance and then be notified when it is ready.
