Who are the Aliens?

The Aliens, also known as the “Little Green Men” (LGMs), are popular characters from the Toy Story franchise. They are small, three-eyed, green extraterrestrials who first appear in the original Toy Story movie (1995) as prizes inside a claw machine at Pizza Planet. The Aliens are known for their iconic catchphrase, “The Claw!” which they worship, believing it to be a divine force that controls their fate.

These characters are incredibly loyal and often express gratitude for being “chosen” by the Claw, a recurring theme in their dialogue. Throughout the Toy Story films, they become endearing members of the larger ensemble cast of toys. They appear in several key scenes, most notably in Toy Story 2 when they are rescued by Mr. Potato Head, and in Toy Story 3, where they play a crucial role in saving the main characters by using a crane to rescue them from a furnace.

The Aliens are voiced by Jeff Pidgeon, a Pixar storyboard artist and animator who has voiced them throughout the Toy Story series. His voice gives the Aliens their distinctive high-pitched, childlike tone that has made them memorable characters beloved by fans of the franchise.
