Who is Flotsam and Jetsam?In the Disney animated film “The Little Mermaid,” Flotsam and Jetsam are two eels who serve as the henchmen of the main antagonist, Ursula the sea witch. They are voiced by actors Paddi Edwards and Edie McClurg. They are known for their slimy, sinister nature and their loyalty to Ursula. They are tasked with helping Ursula carry out her plan to steal Ariel’s voice and take control of the ocean kingdom. They’re the ones who spy on Ariel and report back to Ursula. They are also known for their distinctive appearance, with Flotsam being a green eel and Jetsam being a blue eel. They play a role in the climax of the story trying to stop Ariel’s plan to defeat Ursula, but they ultimately fail.
