Who is Jiminy Cricket?
Jiminy Cricket is a fictional character from Walt Disney Productions. He is a small, anthropomorphic cricket and the deuteragonist of the 1940 Disney animated feature film Pinocchio. He serves as the conscience of the titular character, and is tasked with keeping him on the right path.
He is known for singing the iconic song “When You Wish Upon a Star” which serves as the theme for the film and the company. He also appeared in other Disney works such as the television series “House of Mouse” and “Kingdom Hearts” video game series. He is voiced by Cliff Edwards in the original film and its sequels.
