Kristoff Bjorgman is the rugged, ice-harvesting hero of Disney’s Frozen franchise. Known for his deep bond with his reindeer Sven and his heart-on-his-sleeve loyalty to Anna, Kristoff has evolved from a solitary mountain man into a vital member of the Arendelle royal family.

EPCOT News: The 2026 Animatronic Upgrade

In February 2026, Kristoff received a major “face-lift” at Walt Disney World. EPCOT’s Frozen Ever After closed on January 26 for a high-tech overhaul. It reopened on February 12, 2026, the original “projection-face” Kristoff will be replaced with a next-generation Audio-Animatronic featuring a physical, articulated face and silicone skin. This new model, inspired by the World of Frozen in Hong Kong, allows for more lifelike expressions and fluid movement during the “Reindeer(s) are Better Than People” scene.

Frozen 3 & Frozen 4: Record-Breaking Returns

On February 3, 2026, production updates confirmed that Jonathan Groff has signed a record-breaking deal to return as the voice of Kristoff for both Frozen 3 (slated for late 2027) and the already-teased Frozen 4. While the plot remains “shrouded in snow,” fans are buzzing about rumors that the third film will finally explore Kristoff and Anna’s life as a married couple, possibly introducing a new generation of Arendelle explorers.

Where to Find Kristoff in 2026

  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Catch Kristoff daily in the “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.” This remains the only location in Florida where Kristoff makes a regular, live stage appearance.
  • Disneyland Paris (Opening March 29, 2026): Kristoff will be a headlining character in the brand-new World of Frozen expansion at Disney Adventure World. He will appear aboard the new Viking longships during the “A Celebration in Arendelle” lagoon show.
  • Disney Cruise Line: Kristoff remains a fan-favorite aboard the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure, appearing in the “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” stage production.
