Who is Prince Eric?

Prince Eric is a fictional character and the love interest of Ariel in Disney’s 1989 animated feature film, The Little Mermaid. He is a human prince who Ariel falls in love with after saving him from drowning. He is the prince of a kingdom on the surface and is kind, brave and handsome. He is also known for his singing voice. He is also one of the few Disney Printers who does not have a speaking role in the movie but is still an important character. He is voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes in the original film and its sequels and in the Disney Parks and other media.

He has had three voices throughout the years: CD Barnes, Jeff Bennett and Rob Paulsen
He is based on a Hans Christian Andersen character.
To date, he has appeared in two movies: The Little Mermaid and The Little Mermaid II: Return to Sea.
