“Jedi Training Academy Sign-Up/Carbon Freeze Me” was two separate experiences at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, Florida.
Jedi Training Academy Sign-Up: The Jedi Training Academy allowed young guests to become Jedi apprentices and receive training in the ways of the Force. Children between the ages of 4 and 12 could sign up for the experience at the Jedi Training Academy registration location in the park. Selected participants were then given Jedi robes and lightsabers to participate in a training session led by a Jedi Master. During the training, they would face off against villains from the Star Wars universe, such as Darth Vader or Darth Maul, in a choreographed lightsaber battle.
Carbon Freeze Me: “Carbon Freeze Me” was a separate experience located at the Star Wars Launch Bay. Guests had the opportunity to have their faces digitally scanned and then turned into a personalized 3D carbonite figurine. This allowed guests to become a part of the Star Wars universe and have a unique keepsake of their visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Both of these experiences aimed to provide guests with immersive and interactive encounters inspired by the Star Wars franchise.
