Little Patch of Heaven Petting Farm | Disneyland

Last Updated on: March 26th, 2024

“Little Patch of Heaven Petting Farm” was a temporary attraction at Disneyland in California. It was introduced as part of the “Happiest Homecoming on Earth” celebration, which marked Disneyland’s 50th anniversary in 2005.

The Little Patch of Heaven Petting Farm was located in the Big Thunder Ranch area of Frontierland. It was designed to resemble a rustic farm and provided an opportunity for guests to interact with various domestic animals. Guests could pet and feed animals such as goats, sheep, cows, and other farm animals.

The attraction aimed to offer a hands-on and educational experience for guests, especially children, to learn about farm animals and their care. It provided a break from the bustling park atmosphere and allowed guests to connect with nature in a relaxed setting.

However, the Little Patch of Heaven Petting Farm was only a temporary addition to Disneyland and closed after the conclusion of the 50th-anniversary celebration. The area was later repurposed for other seasonal offerings or events.
