Disney has unveiled the anticipated opening timeframes for three major attractions at Walt Disney World, promising guests new immersive experiences next year.
Pirates of the Caribbean Tavern
Set to debut in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom in late 2025, this new tavern will extend the beloved “Pirates of the Caribbean” narrative. Described as a “rambunctious watering hole,” it will welcome guests of all ages to embrace the pirate life. Notably, the tavern will feature the return of Peg-Leg Pete, the iconic Barker Bird who entertained guests from 1973 to 2006.
Spaceship Earth Lounge
EPCOT will introduce a Spaceship Earth-inspired lounge just before summer 2025. This sleek space will draw inspiration from the geometric design of the iconic sphere, featuring rich textures and warm metallic tones to create an elegant and intimate atmosphere. The lounge aims to provide a serene environment for guests to gather and enjoy refreshments.
Test Track 3.0
The reimagined Test Track at EPCOT is slated to open in late 2025. A collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and General Motors, this updated attraction will celebrate innovation by highlighting the past, present, and future of transportation. Drawing inspiration from the original World of Motion ride, it will feature new show scenes focusing on onboard technology and personalization, while retaining the existing track layout, including the exhilarating outdoor loop.
These developments reflect Disney’s commitment to enhancing guest experiences by blending nostalgia with modern storytelling and technology. Visitors can look forward to these exciting additions enriching their future park adventures.
