The Skyway to Fantasyland was an aerial cable car attraction that operated at Disneyland from 1956 to 1994. The attraction consisted of two stations, one located in Fantasyland and the other in Tomorrowland, and was designed to transport visitors from one area of the park to the other.

Visitors would board gondolas, which were suspended from a cable that ran between the two stations. The gondolas were open-air, offering visitors a bird’s-eye view of the park as they traveled high above the crowds. The journey lasted about 10 minutes and provided spectacular views of the park’s attractions and surrounding landscape.

The Skyway to Fantasyland was a popular attraction at Disneyland for many years, but it was eventually closed in 1994 due to maintenance and operational issues. The attraction was later removed and the stations were repurposed for other uses within the park. Today, the former Skyway station in Tomorrowland is home to the entrance of the Star Wars Launch Bay attraction, while the former Fantasyland station is used for storage and maintenance purposes. However, the Skyway to Fantasyland remains a beloved part of Disneyland’s history for many fans.
