Disney Unveils 13 Iconic Villains for New Villains Land at Disney World

Disney has officially announced an exciting new addition to its Magic Kingdom: a dedicated Villains Land, featuring 13 of its most notorious villains.

Revealed at the D23 Brazil fan event, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro shared details about the immersive world being designed behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Orlando. This expansion, aptly named “Beyond Big Thunder,” will introduce guests to a dark and thrilling corner of the Disney universe.

The land will showcase iconic villains, including Maleficent (in both human and dragon form), Ursula, Gaston, and the Evil Queen. Other villains include Jafar, Lady Tremaine, Yzma, Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Mother Gothel, Hades, and Chernabog. Disney fans can expect immersive attractions, dining, and themed experiences centered around these characters, offering a unique blend of enchantment and wickedness.

The project is anticipated to be as expansive as Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, signaling Disney’s commitment to continually enhancing its guest experiences with new, creative ventures.
