Who is Bunsen Honeydew?
Bunsen Honeydew is a fictional character from the Jim Henson’s Muppet franchise. He is a Muppet who is a scientist and inventor, who is always experimenting with new and exciting ideas.
He is best known for his appearances on “The Muppet Show,” where he is often seen conducting wacky experiments in his laboratory, and on “Muppet Babies” where he is a main character. He is usually paired with his lab assistant, Beaker, a hapless Muppet with a high-pitched meep-like voice. He is performed by puppeteer Dave Goelz.
He is known for his intelligence, his enthusiasm for science, and his dry sense of humor. He is also known for his iconic green lab coat and goggles.
