Who is Carlos?
Carlos De Vil is a character from Disney’s Descendants franchise. He is the son of Cruella De Vil, the infamous villain from 101 Dalmatians.
Carlos has a distinctive personality, shaped by his relationship with his mother, who instilled in him an intense fear of dogs. However, as he grows and becomes friends with Dude, a dog introduced in the first Descendants movie, he overcomes this fear and learns to love animals.
Carlos is portrayed as intelligent, tech-savvy, and a bit shy, often relying on his technical skills to assist his friends. He’s also loyal and brave, becoming an essential part of the group of “Villain Kids” or “VKs,” alongside Mal, Evie, and Jay. Together, they challenge the stereotypes associated with their villainous parents and forge their own paths.
In the Descendants movies, Carlos is played by actor Cameron Boyce, who brought charm and humor to the role, making Carlos a fan-favorite character. Tragically, Boyce passed away in 2019, and his portrayal of Carlos remains a beloved part of his legacy.
