Disney World is set to become even more enchanting this summer with the announcement of four new activities that promise to make the season unforgettable. Whether you’re a fan of Pixar, enchanted by the magic of drones, ready to celebrate iconic movies, or looking to dive into immersive experiences, there’s something for everyone in this summer’s lineup.

First on the list is the “Disney Dreams That Soar” drone experience at Disney Springs. This nightly spectacle, running from May 24 through September 2, features state-of-the-art drones that light up the sky above Lake Buena Vista, creating designs and patterns synchronized with music and quotes from Disney movies. This show adds a magical end to a day filled with shopping, dining, and fun at Disney Springs.

Next, Disney’s Hollywood Studios invites guests to get a sneak peek of “Inside Out 2” at Pixar Plaza, starting June 10. Joy, one of the beloved characters from the movie, will be there to meet fans against the backdrop of the upcoming film’s premiere on June 14. The plaza will also offer new Pixar-themed merchandise and photo opportunities, adding to the celebration of Pixar’s storytelling.

At EPCOT, a new limited-time show titled “¡Celebración Encanto!” will debut on June 10, running through September 6. This summer sing-along features songs and the story from the popular movie “Encanto,” with performances several times a day. The show takes place on the CommuniCore Plaza stage, marking the completion of EPCOT’s extensive transformation. Guests can enjoy the fully reimagined park, including new attractions, dining options, and a refreshed CommuniCore Hall.

Finally, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating the 30th anniversary of “The Lion King” from June 10 through September 6. The celebration includes a new merchandise collection, special menu items, and the chance to meet Timon and Rafiki at Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Additionally, guests can learn to draw characters from “The Lion King” at the Animation Experience.

These four new activities at Disney World promise to make this summer a season of magical memories for visitors of all ages. From high-flying drones to beloved characters and stories, Disney World is the place to be for an extra magical summertime adventure.
