Disney’s recent releases, “Mufasa: The Lion King” and “Moana 2,” have achieved significant box office success, reaffirming the studio’s dominance in animated storytelling.

“Moana 2,” the sequel to the 2016 hit, continues the adventures of the titular Polynesian wayfinder. The film has garnered $960.5 million globally, edging closer to the coveted $1 billion mark. Its impressive performance is highlighted by a record-breaking five-day domestic debut of $221 million over the Thanksgiving weekend, setting new benchmarks for animated releases.
