Han Solo is a character in the Star Wars franchise. He is first introduced in the 1977 film “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope” as a smuggler who becomes involved with the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire. Solo is known for his roguish charm, sharp wit, and piloting skills, as well as his close relationship with his co-pilot and friend, Chewbacca. Over the course of the original Star Wars trilogy, Solo becomes a key figure in the fight against the Empire, forming a romantic relationship with the Rebel leader Princess Leia Organa and helping to destroy the Empire’s second Death Star. Solo is portrayed by actor Harrison Ford, and has since become one of the most iconic and beloved characters in the Star Wars franchise.
