Who is Beaker?

Beaker is a Muppet character from The Muppet Show and other Muppet productions. He is a lab assistant to Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and is easily distinguished by his shock of red hair and a beaker for a head. Beaker’s main role is being a hapless assistant, often being subject to Bunsen’s various experiments, and getting hurt or destroyed in comedic ways. He is known for his distinctive high-pitched meeps and nervous demeanor. He was performed by several puppeteers including Richard Hunt, Dave Goelz and Steve Whitmire.
