Pumbaa (The Lion King)

Pumbaa is a beloved character from Disney’s animated classic The Lion King (1994).

A carefree and comical warthog, Pumbaa is one half of the iconic duo that also includes Timon, a wise-cracking meerkat. Together, they live by the motto “Hakuna Matata,” which means “no worries” in Swahili. This philosophy helps shape the life of Simba, the young lion prince, when he flees his kingdom after a traumatic loss.
