Adventure Thru Inner Space was a former attraction at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. The attraction opened in 1967 and was the first attraction to use the Omnimover ride system, which is still used in several rides at Disney parks today, including the Haunted Mansion and the Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure.

Adventure Thru Inner Space was a simulated journey through a snowflake and into a subatomic world, with guests “shrinking” down to the size of atoms and observing the world around them. The attraction used a combination of special effects, music, and narration to create an immersive experience for guests.

The ride was located in Tomorrowland and was part of Disneyland’s effort to showcase science and technology in a fun and engaging way. The attraction closed in 1985 and was replaced by Star Tours.

Adventure Thru Inner Space is remembered fondly by many Disneyland fans and is considered a classic attraction that helped pave the way for the many immersive and innovative rides that followed at Disney parks around the world.
