Who is Rapunzel?
Who is Rapunzel?Rapunzel is a fictional character and the titular protagonist of the 2010 Disney animated film “Tangled“. She is a young woman with long, magical hair that has healing powers. She was kidnapped as a baby and raised in a tower by Mother Gothel, who uses her hair for eternal youth.
Rapunzel longs to leave the tower and see the floating lanterns that appear on her birthday every year. With the help of a thief named Flynn Rider, she escapes her tower and goes on an adventure to discover the truth about her past, her family and the world outside. She is known for her long golden hair, her artistic talents, and her kindness.
Rapunzel is considered a strong and independent Disney princess, and her story has been adapted in various forms such as films, stage productions and merchandise. She was voiced by actress Mandy Moore.
